Our new Furikake Seasoning gives texture & flavour to anything you sprinkle it on. Furikake is a traditional Japanese condiment, now increasingly popular in Western kitchens. It’s a high versatile seasoning, used as a topping to give texture & flavour to rice dishes, stir fries, noodles, avocado, veggies, tofu & so much more. This one is hot; full of flavour but with a bit more kick. We also do a mild version. Traditional recipes often include dried bonito (tuna) flakes, but we keep ours vegan by blending black & white SESAME seeds, garlic, sea salt, smoked sea salt, seaweed, Gochugaru pepper, chilli powder, ginger, orange zest & chives to create an umami, moreish crunch to anything. It’s also great to use in soups & stocks, perfect for ramen bowls. As with all our of blends, a little goes a long way. You’ll only use a pinch at a time, so our pot of Furikake Seasoning is enough for a dozen or more meals. Like so many in our range, this is another that’s sugar-free, gluten-free & vegan too.
