Our beautiful Mulled Spice Kit contains 3 sachets of zest & warming spice to give red wine, cider or fruit juice a beautiful, warming spice. It’s also ‘free’ on all the slimming plans we know of! Simply pop 1 sachet into a saucepan, add a bottle of red wine, fruit juice or cider, top up with 200ml of water & gently warm for 10 minutes for a lovely warming infusion. Don’t boil – it should be warm, not piping hot. Some people like to add 2-3 tbsp of brown sugar too, but that’s up to you. Try adding to a sachet to any stoned fruit (like plums or nectarines) with some orange juice and a pinch of sugar before gently stewing for 20 minutes. Allow to cool with the sachet in the fruit, then spoon the fruit over some greek yoghurt and drizzle with a little honey for a delicious treat! Perfect for a hot mulled apple juice on a cold wintery night!
