Our versatile Mexican Tinga Chipotle Rub is rich & smoky, fantastic for chicken, pork & tacos. Makes a great Birria sauce too! Add 1-2 tsp to a splash of oil for a marinade or try 2 tsp to mince & diced onion when frying for a chilli or a filling for tacos or burritos. Use 3-4 tsp on a large pork shoulder or leg joint & let it sit for a few hours to infuse before slow cooking in a covered pot with a can of crushed tomatoes & a splash of water, then shred & fill hard or soft shell tacos. Serve a small bowl of the sauce to drizzle on the taco, Birria-style! Alternatively, for an even quicker sauce, stir in 1-2 tsp of seasoning to 100ml of beef stock & enjoy with anything; we dip tacos or quesadillas into this, then drink what’s left! This works well with sweet potatoes or cauliflower as well. Like so many in our range, this is another that’s sugar-free, gluten-free, paleo & vegan too.
