The laundry egg case is made from BPA free and recyclable (category 5) plastic and the laundry egg pellets do not contain any palm oil, SLS or SLES, parabens, petrochemicals, enzymes, phosphates or microplastics. So by using an ecoegg Laundry Egg, not only are you reducing your plastic use, but you are also helping to save tonnes of chemical laden washing detergent from polluting our water systems every year. Ecoegg use environmentally friendly vegetable-based inks for their print, which contains no petrochemicals. There is a plastic label on the box sealing the top, we are working on this with our supplier. The refillable pellets do currently come packaged in recyclable plastic bags, Ecoegg are working on a biodegradable alternative. Put the bags in your mixed recycling.
