Our Denissimo Private Reserve: “Molto Denissimo” (Extra Dense) is so good that it compares to special order balsamic! Naturally caramelized, cooked down to an even greater extent, and then aged longer (up to 25 years) in the traditional “Batteria” of Modena. It’s slowly aged in five different casks: mulberry, ash, oak, juniper & cherry wood. This exquisite and exceedingly rare 1.36 density balsamic is extremely complex. Bursting with notes of cherry wood, dried fruits, raisins, figs, along with hints of dark chocolate and malt. A culinary essential to use alone or mixed with an olive oil.
