Most rings in my bag had too much sugar but overall these are great being unsulphured. Some years back when the Philippines experienced a huge Tsunami & affected the pineapple commerce. It was years before any good unsulphured pineapple was available. About that time, the laws changed that required read more... sugar must be added to dried pineapple. I'm in California & my dried pineapple bags came with the State of Calif warning on lead, etc. Plants will uptake metals including lead. I'm still working on my first delicious bag & because of potential lead, possibly higher levels than Calif allows, I plan to wait extra time before opening my next bag. The expire date is Oct 12, 2021 - a year from now.
